These terms are being finalised and may still change. The deposit and cancellation terms are the ones we work by today. Ask Alison if anything here matters to your booking.

Nothing optional until you choose
Analytics and advertising tags stay off until you accept them. Until then Google receives only cookieless signals that cannot identify you. Change your choice any time with the cookie preferences link at the foot of every page; rejecting has no effect on booking.
Necessary
Always on, because the site does not work without them:
- ad_consent (6 months): remembers your cookie choice.
- ad_session (30 days): keeps the owner signed in to the admin area. Never set for visitors.
- sl_cart (browser storage): remembers the olive oil in your basket.
Analytics, if you agree
- _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics, 2 years): count visits and pages read.
- _clck, _clsk and CLID (Microsoft Clarity, up to 1 year): show where people scroll and click. Clarity masks what you type.
Advertising, if you agree
If you accept advertising cookies and then enquire or order, we also tell Google and Meta about that event from our server, sending your email and phone only in hashed (one-way scrambled) form.
- _fbp and _fbc (Meta Pixel, 3 months): link a visit to a Facebook or Instagram advert.
- _gcl_au (Google Ads, 3 months): link a visit to a Google advert.
- ad_attr and ad_visitor (this site, 90 days): remember which link first brought you here.
